Born and raised in Curitiba – Brazil, a case study city for urban subjects in Latin America, I have learned from a very young age the importance of living in a place where Urban Planning was, for many years, faced as priority. I know the importance of investing in urban mobility and safety, developing public environments that allow free and easy commutes and do not act as obstacles in the everyday life.  For 7 years I have been working with and researching urban solutions and public policies that can contribute to inclusive and adequate city use for all, specially focusing on the relationship that women have with these collective spaces. I believe that fear cannot be an obstacle for us to be in every single space.

For more women in politics

Cities are made of politics. It is not possible to manage, plan and build good public spaces without diversity. Due to my experience as a planner, manager and urban designer, I have been acting also to articulate strategies to help elect more women for public offices.
